Kizad HQ
A hub with a young soul that allows a wide range of functional possibilities. The informal meetings area can be reconfigured to hold exhibitions, and training activities, but also serves as an agora area. The co-working area distributes organically parallel to the façade to maximize the exposure to daylight and promote creativity.

Combining both industrial elements including the raw concrete and metal sheets imported from the port’s own containers with the Avant-garde lighting and the use of vibrant colors gave the space an industrial yet warm character.

The interior design objective was to encourage the interaction between the different departments by organically arranging the workstations. Departments are separated by informal breakout areas originated by light shelving systems and different floor textures.

Different colors are used to visually distinguish the different spaces as well as add the ‘fun’ element into the creative environment. To create balance, the ceiling was retained in its industrial finish. To make the place more peaceful, lots of greenery is used around the office.

The aim is to have an open space that feels bright and young with an industrial feel. We used the brand's red color on barrels and curated metal sheets which are inspired by Oil Brokerage products and balanced this vibrancy with more tuned finishes such as concrete and white furniture.Illustrations of oil tankers are placed on the glass partitions to visually blend the space and also acts as a manifestation.

The space is open onto the pantry area encouraging the team to use it for informal meetings. The space pantry is treated acoustically to control the noise.

The idea was to convert a derelict brick factory located in a park into offices and conference facilities. We wanted to keep the industrial feel and use the brick ventilated façade as sun shading. An extensive use of industrial materials and structural reinforcements were required to create the new ribbed roof and were further accentuated in old traditional steel methods.

All new partitions were done in transparent glass to keep the purity of the industrial skeleton of the building. The spaces that needed to be enclosed were treated in either wood or white finish to blend with the skeleton.
